Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has shared his unique perspective on finding inspiration, following India’s triumph in the T20 World Cup. Arshdeep, the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 17 scalps at an impressive economy rate of just 7.16, emphasized that his sources of inspiration extend beyond the cricketing world.
After returning home from the victorious campaign, Arshdeep Singh was felicitated by Chandigarh University for his outstanding performance. Speaking to reporters, Arshdeep highlighted the diverse sources of his motivation:
“As a player, I look for inspiration in everyone, be it a daily wager, a student topping his classes, or a professor. I try getting inspired by the ones doing well in their lives. The message to the youth is that they keep continuing to give their best, controlling what they can. Keep working hard. You will get the fruits of your hard work.”
Arshdeep’s spectacular figures of 2/20 in the final against South Africa were crucial, including the key wickets of captain Aiden Markram and explosive batter Quinton de Kock.
